Milky Way in Lynton, Devon. 1200 D (modded) 550D and 15-85 zoom.

Recommended Posts

Just returned from 10 days at a dark sit in Devon and these are the only two pics I got as nine of the nights were cloudy and I couldn't set my scope and mount up in Lynton as it was B & B. To say it was frustrating is an understatement! Anyway, the first one was taken about 3.00am when I peered outside my bedroom and was greeted with my first sighting of Orion this year. 1200D, F 4.5, iso 6400, 17mm. The second it the Milky Way rising out of the Church at Lynton. 550D,F4, iso 1600, 15mm. Both single 25 sec exposures and both taken with the aid of a fixed tripod.
