well what a surprise a new double large ar thismorrning . this is why I'm a solarist, don't get me wrong but like DS and the moon imaging but apart from the odd comet asteroid or supernova it hasn't change "well not with my eyes" since I started 40 odd years ago .

theres only one set of proms on the off going limb, seeings quite good but got cloudier as the day war on.

Nicely done Charl, stuff has arrived to fix the scope so hopefully everything will soon be back to " normal " here and I can get back to solar imaging

Great stuff Charl! I knew big spots would appear if I went away on another holiday...fingers crossed they will be there next week on my return, or even bigger .good luck with the weather all (heavy rain here in Derbyshire Dales)
