Star Adventurer Snap Port Issues

Does anyone who owns the Skywatcher Star Adventurer have any issues with the SNAP port on it?

Last time I was out imaging with it, noticed that if I orientated the camera into certain positions, then it would not fire.  Seems that the jack was not making correct connection inside the port.  I am using a Skywatcher supplied cable, so should not have had any problems.

Have had it fire off randomly when plugging in the cable, but expect this due to the way that it is wired and how it triggers the camera shutter release.

Had the same issue with the SW GOTO mount too - instantly remedied when I realized it came loose when turned too far and the cable became tight and pulled itself partly from socket - just needed to make sure there was plenty of slack with cable .
