Beautiful clear blue skies this morning. I was looking forward testing the limits of the Evostar 120mm with the Lunt wedge. I was hoping to try and capture some finer detail in Penumbra than I have been. Reading the other day that the filaments were 0.2-0.2 arc secs in width I figured with the X2.5 Powermate X2 Barlow combo and the 120mm it would give me resolution of 025". It felt a bit overkill to be honest and it was for todays conditions.

These images were with the X3 Barlow which according to my workings gives me 0.38". Some pretty decent surface detail and a little in the Penumbra. Also Some very nice Faculae around the new spot.

Both images are with DMK21au618.
