first time iv seen the top of Sagittarius from scotland, 30 mins of stacked images with canon 600d 18mm kit lens and star adventurer.

Our Galaxy - edge on!! Stunning.

With dark, unbstructed southern horizon, it's surprising how much you can see. I think I make out M8 The Lagoon Nebula skimming the horizon?

So I thought you were in Scotland ... but you say Abingdon?
