The ring is icy stuff (from ALMA), the star is in the central blob (which is not resolved here), the blue details are from a Hubble image.  The darkened central bit is caused by a disc used to occult the bright starlight, to prevent it swamping the rest of the Hubble image.

The pace of research is just phenomenal. Not so long ago we were confidently informed it would never be possible to image any star other than our own.
