Binocular Case

I thought I needed one of those aluminium foam filled flight cases for a pair of my binoculars or possibly house my Revelation EP's which presently reside in a plastic Quality street sweet container.

When I left the house this afternoon, I had in mind, something for my 8x40s, however the Maplin Mini Flight case ( Code: N50FU )  which I bought for £14.99 (discounted) now houses my Strathspey Marine 10x50's.

The 10x50's were bought for  general use, and the rough and tumble of living in the car, and although the  supplied fabric pouch is good,  I felt the optics could benefit further from something more substantial.
There's been many occasions recently where I could have benefitted from having my binoculars close to hand, whilst out and about in the car, now there's no excuse? 

Not sure how long the offer will last, but here's the end result.

Nice job. I did something similar for my Pentax 20x60s as the Pentax supplied case was shamefully poor. It makes a big difference.

I'm hoping my next set of 15x70's will come supplied  with their own flight case?............. I'm  also pondering the purchase of another case right now!

........there! didn't take long, a new home for the Revelations! and free delivery too,  saving a two hour drive and  fuel for the 98 mile round trip!

Lovely. These flight cases don't just look sturdy they also look pretty stylish.

Case No2 arrived, just as tidy as the first.
Undecided  as to which way the content should be stored, either on display with names, as depicted, or in their own little vertical silo's?
Importantly though, their much more secure in this environment.
