Aurora tonight ? !

Kp 9 !!  at the mo. will it still be at that level tonight  I wonder

At that level there could be a display down into Europe. There is already much auroral activity on amateur radio bands.

My sky is down from 80% clear earlier to 50% now :( but at least it is a bit darker !

I took my 10 year old grandson to the coast (it's only 6 miles from home ) and as is always the case the horizon was clouded out

but the young'un  had a good time any hoo, so no light show  and a late night, such is life if you try to observe

anything in the heavens,   here's to the next time/chance.
