Lagoon and Trifid Nebula

I took this picture a month ago during the International Astronomical Youth Camp in Spain. I really like the color balance produced by the IDAS LPS D1 in this picture, it also helped a lot because the exposures were taken between 25º and 15º!

 

Total exposure: 24x300s at ISO1600 (2h)

 

Details:

- Telescope: TS80 Triplet Apo + x0.79 reducer

- Camera: Canon 750Da + IDAS LPS D1

- Mount: NEQ6 Pro II Mod 

- Autoguide: ASI120MC + 50/200mm

Superb.  Superb processing blending the bright emision with the delicate dark nebulosity.  Perfect framing

Amazing shot - don't think I've seen the two presented together like that - gives them both a really nice context.
