I'm going to a dark site tomorrow and I don't have an inferred flashlight someone told me you can just paint over the lense of s regular flashlight with red mail polish does this work? If not where van I geta property light?

Should work!  I use red cellophane or acetate sheet - experiment with how many layers you need to tape on.  The red part of cinema 3D glasses works as well.

You can buy rear bicycle lights at places like .99p Stores, PoundLand,... etc.

Thanks everyone I do in fact live in Wisconsin hope there's no stalkers on here lol jk. The moon was very very bright but I waited it out until it set and got some great views of andromeda it was the first time I was able to see the milky way so it was worth the drive just for that thanks to everyone who replied
