The Binocular Sky Newsletter, September 2017

Recommended Posts

The nights are getting longer and the latest edition of the Binocular Sky Newsletter is ready. I'm releasing it a few days earlier than usual, for the benefit of those who do not take the Twitter or Facebook feeds and/or may have missed last week's NEO announcement. As well as the usual overview of DSOs, variable and double stars, this month we have:

  *  A close approach of a Near Earth Asteroid (from the end of August)
  *  Two grazing lunar occultations
  *  An asteroid occultation

Please note that the charts are necessarily of low resolution, but clicking on them will take you to a higher resolution version.

I hope you find it useful with your binoculars or small telescopes)

To grab your (free!) copy, or to subscribe (also free) and receive it monthly, please go to http://binocularsky.com and click on the 'Newsletter' tab.
