A great capture, missed it myself, but in Scotland it would have been a fine sliver that a 'scope would be required to see it methinks.

Really like it as a picture. All of the pictures from the US have zero horizon. The house, trees combo makes the shot.

Blimey.  Whereabouts in north Devon did you get those?  I'm hardly a million miles away and it was heavy cloud to the west here.

I took the photo from Plymouth. Sounds like people in bits of cornwall and devon managed to catch it, elsewhere people were less lucky.

Bishops Nympton, very last minute sky cleared for about 20 mins before the Sun sank into a thick band of cloud. 

Wasn't going to go out initially but thought, what the heck. Super happy to have got anything, 4.8% I think.

I guess it's going to be cloudy for a fair while during the daytime as well as evening and nighttime as I have just acquired an Ha solar telescope - sorry about that folks
