Dew Shield for OMC 140

Hi, Gang.

Anybody here knows the outside tube diameter of the OMC 140?

I want to buy a Dew Shield. I suspect an  AstrozZap 5” Celestron 5SE: from FLO will do it, but I am not altogether sure.

Any advice, please?

I have the older white version at the outer diameter is 162mm

I'm away from home at the moment but when I get home on Saturday I can see if my C5 Astrozap dew shield fits the OMC140 and let you know

They don't seem to advertise it but Orion Optics do make a Carbon Fibre Dew Shield that threads onto the objective cell of the OMC140.

I have one, it's a perfect match for the OMC140 tube.

I have the older white aluminium tube version and it has the screw-on dew shield. Very swish, but quite likely very expensive compared to an Astrozap or one made from a camping mat
