Milky Way not stacking well in DSS

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

My 10 images of the milky way taken with a tracking mount - EQ3  pro - turns out to be extremely blurry.  I've tried every single  main option (Stacking settings > Lights > median, average, kappa sigma clipping) and (stacking settings > result > mosaic, standard). I'm using 3.3.4. I've examined my data but it seems to be fine. The mount moves a bit but not drastically and I've experimented with worse data and got better results than this.  I'll attach the raw and the .tif files here.

The output is unlike anything I've seen before which does make me wonder...

All the best,

I am not sure what happened in DSS, but I have registered, and integrated your files using PI, I am no expert in this kind of imaging but I assume you will have to use PS to overlay the blurred building with one of your subs.    I am sure others know how to fix this

Stars look very nice !
