Hi TJ, Yes I did the reticule yesterday on a telegraph pole in the distance, I found it's best to move the alt adjuster all the way so I could actually see something. Maplin do a nice cheap allen key set that also has the same size key to take the ETX I have off its forks, so I might try that one on the mount in the next few days. :D
