Barlow issue with Skywatcher 130p Heritage

I just read a really old thread that made reference to having to collapse the flextube by 1cm or so on the 130p to be able to use the BST Starguider shorty Barlow.

1) is this correct?

2) if it is, then is this only needed for shorty Barlows or for all Barlows?

the reason I ask is that Ive never read anywhere else that there is an issue with Barlows on the 130p.

I have this problem With the Heritage and Hyperion zoom both With and without barlow. Have to collapse the flextube by ~1cm to achieve focus.

I dont have the same problem With Stock eyepiece and cheapo barlow though.

Edit : I`m not implying BST barlow is a cheapo barlow ....
