Reprocessing a Uranus from last year.
The more time goes by the more you can improve the processing techniques, the more you can extract details of what you apparently did not have to do anymore. Living and learning!

Excellent image and very wise words!  I have a Uranus image that I saved all the data from for future improvements.

Thanks for the comments!
Yes, dear Pete, it's important for us to save the raw data for future processing. The tendency is for us to improve as we go along, and sometimes to return to old photos is worth under the light of new processing methods or even new programs. I formerly did not use Fitswork and now use a lot, it makes a big difference in the final processing.

Marvellous! I love the detail on the disk. Is there a pole on the right hand side, at about 2 o'clock?

The setup used is:
C14 Edge + ASI 224 + Powermate 2X + L filter
I am located in the south of Brazil, my seeing is probably better than the UK but still inferior to the good places that exist in the world!
