Those travelling to the Great American Eclipse

Recommended Posts

I just read this news feed which some members visiting the United States may find useful.

http://www.newsweek.com/solar-eclipse-space-national-disaster-solar-eclipse-prep-643766

Certainly I was originally going to drive, the night before, the 10 hours from outside of San Francisco into Oregan but changed my mind.

In 5 years another total solar-eclipse is coming to the USA. That one will be right over my roof - clouds willing - and I'll be locked-down well in advance.

That one will be in April, so it shouldn't be as crazy as the peak Summer-Season of this event. If you're going to this one on the 21st - be careful and be prepared. Stock-up on supplies and needed medications and first-aid gear. And put your money in your shoes.

Have a good time!
