Dss leaving ugly artifact

As the title says, dss is leaving an ugly artifact around and nebula/galaxy. It is like small round marks that look really wired. I have tried stacking without cosmetic correction, without darks, without flats, have tried with average and median stacking, have tried with and without median filter, have tried increasing and decreasing star detection threshold, and made sure that the adjustments were embedded but not applied. I also know that it is dss because I stacked in astrofx and there were no artifacts.

This is quite depressing and I hope someone has some ideas

Hi. Unless you give detail -camera type, a snap of the artefact, links to light, dark, flat and bias frames...- it's difficult to surmise.

Same results with all my cameras and telescopes. I may have figured it out, I reinstalled dss and I'm going to get some data tonight.
