NEQ6 Pier extension question.....

Hello could any one tell me if the Skywatcher pier extension can be attached to a pier plate,and if so how.

Yes, the base of the extension is the same as the base of the mount so it is a simple replacement.

Let me get some photos together and I'll show you how mine fits on a brake disk.

Well, that was fun...

I seem not to have taken any quality photos so, today I disassembled the lot and started again (taking care to get good photos this time).

As tonight was totally cloud free I managed to get everything back together, polar aligned and built a 15 point star map in eqmod as well.

Have actually just been reading that,I have the same problem,when I built my obsy it had a Meade lx 200  which was much taller than the neq6 I have now,and the pier is cemented in,so doing all I can not to dig it up would you say the extension is suited better on a tripod or pier.
