Sunny all day here for a change so plenty of opportunity to wave it goodbye. By 6pm the seeing had improved enough to use 300x, the area looked very much like looking down into a volcano in 3D but processed digitally as an inverted image, the interior being black and the cone in glowing red. The activity surrounding it threw up waves of material similar to lunar crater walls. I think it's the first time I've followed a major sunspot so close to the limb in Ha, will certainly do so again if the chance arises.  :icon_biggrin:
