PHD2 High Frequency star motion

While messin' about last night I found that PHD2 has a Guiding Assistant. One of the metrics it reports is called "High Frequency Star Motion" and it is described as apparent motion of the target star due to factors external to the mount.

Has anyone else played with this or found it useful in gauging seeing conditions?
