NGC 281 Pacman

Hi,

I had a nice imaging session targeting pacman a few nights back and here is the result.

I should have shot at reduced ISO speed (did 1600) and longer exposures, especially since I was not collecting hours and hours. I did shoot 24 frames, but only 11 were usable. I suspect some cable-dragging or similar since some of the last 9 frames had star trailing in them. I fell asleep during the session, and the scope was still guiding when I woke up at 4:30 .-)

I've lost some frames lately due to unexpected things when I was not paying attention; this is certainly something I have to do something about...

At least three hours usable of data in 6 minute subs @ ISO 800 is my next goal :clouds2:

Dirty details;

11 x 300 seconds @ ISO 1600 Modified canon 10D

Bad flats from earlier session, 9 dark fames & 9 Bias grames

William Optics Megrez 90 w/0.8 Reducer

Guided with Opticstar-130M / PHD.

High humidity
