Solar sketches 9/7/17

AR2665 has been my introduction to white light solar observing, and I have been amazed by how quickly the region has evolved and become more complex.  There was a significant change between Saturday AM and Sunday AM, which I was expecting, but then I took a peek late on Sunday afternoon and saw that there had been further changes to the region, though I didn't have time to sit down and sketch.

I can honestly say that I'm hooked, and saving has started for a PST in the future, but in the meanwhile I'll make do with borrowing the PST from the local Astro Group as well as observing in white light with my DIY Baader Solar Film Filter.

Thanks for the sketches @Moonshane, it was seeing these as well as browsing the solar imaging section that made me give it a go, and I definitely don't regret it.
