Me again, sorry more qhy 10 questions

Hi again. Well as the nights are still a bit bright for playing I have been getting my darks and bias frames together. While doing this I noticed that I seem to have a lot of hot pixels. In fact if I'm reading pi correctly I have 98000 hot and 75000 cold! Is this normal? I'm doing my darks at -15. Do I need to go cooler?

How are you measuring your hot and cold pixels? Also, what was the ambient temperature when you produced your darks.

Hi Steve, Temp was about 20. Im using the the cosmetic correction tool in PI on the hole image, not sure if that gives a correct number but a dark from my DLSR using the same system has only 35000 hot pix and 127 dark.

The QHY 10 has nearly 11 million pixels, so your hot and dark ratio is negligible. No cause for worry
