Solar observing

I purchased a solar wedge a few weeks back and been trying it out got a good day today with a sunspot but I am really pleased with a couple of pictures.

Thanks Nick getting the hang of this adaptor now just need a couple of filters bring granulation out.

Nice ones there, the first ones shows the faculae around the AR well. It's a case of trying to keep the exposure down so you don't lose the detail.

Im only using a Galaxy S7 so I am really pleased with the results.

I just did my first solar observation and saw that sunspot too...looks great.

It's a great result Paul. There are a few apps out there which help with exposure and focus. I use one called ProCam 4 on iOS. Not sure if there is an Android version but there will be something similar I'm sure.

I will have to do some research see what I can find thank you for the advice.
