Sol HA, WL, Prom AR2665. 6-7-17 09.00 ish

great skys here thismorrnig, very good seeing in the clear patches. we have a new AR 2665 I think, some nice proms on the top of the disc.

kit- ed80, quark chromo, asi120mc for HA , 120mm ,lunt wedge, 1200d for WL.

Great set Charl.    Your first image makes the spot look 'depressed' into the solar surface.

Thats a definite then, scope out this aft.

Lovely set Charl, had the Quark set up for a couple of hours, seems OK but lot's of cloud no really clear blue sky to test the imaging.

thanks Sean, yer the spots are nearer the surface than the chromosphere which i think is just above the surface "but dont hold me to that i could be as much wrong as right" hope you got some views. charl.

Managed a couple of vid's through the clouds just running them through AS2, only on the centre tuning setting as there was no time to experiment but it looked pretty good on screen.
