Sunday sun, 12 pane mosaic and very large faint PM prom

Its been a very busy weekend, so up early today to image Venus and the Sun when high enough. At least that was the plan, epic fail on Venus, I couldn't find her :icon_biggrin: as for the Sun the clouds intervened just at the wrong time.

Finally managed a short session around 1:15-2:00. A rushed 12 pane mosaic between the clouds of which there were some nice gaps appearing. Then a quick whizz around the limb to see what prom activity there was, then I noticed a very large albeit faint prom off the western limb. I had push the gain to get a decent view though, its the largest I have seen for a while.

I have no idea whether it was any brighter before or after I saw it, as that was the only chance I had today.

The usual set up Lunt 50 ds, DMK21au618 + X2.5 Powermate.
