Star adventurer polar scope

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I was out testing my new star adventurer to see if the tracking works, ands it does. However I have one question about the polar scope.

From what I have read, the number 6, always has to be in the bottom of the circle. When my RA is at 0 degrees, the 6 is not at the bottom, but approx. 30 degrees to the right.

I could turn the RA to make the 6 be at the bottom of the scope and the align, but does it make any difference in PA?
