Jetliner pass

Only one second from end of a quick run, saw pass live on screen right through middle of sun.  Thought to myself if run is still recording that should be nice and crispy jet pass, doesn't block out sun spots either... ED80, astrozap film, asi174mm.

Wow. That's the best capture of a pass I've seen. As said, nicely processed too :)

Good catch, it's most likely an Airbus A320 or variant.

The reasons I think it's an Airbus.

It has quite a long cone on the rear fuselage where the auxilary power unit is, 737s have very little cone here.
The other reason is the engine mount just protudes past the trailing edge of the wing, Boeings don't do this.
One other reason, bit tenuous, is the wing fences can just be seen, not sure winglets go that far back.
Some Airbuses of course have winglets as well.

Very nice capture. If I had a pound for every transit I've just missed I'd be well off :)
