Just managed to split this wonderful "double double" low down in Scorpius before it dives behind the treeline

What a lovely set of stars and a new one to me. My Tak 100 was at 300x to split the tighter of the 2 pairs, AB at 1.2 arc seconds I believe. The other pair, CD, lies around 41 arc seconds away and form a pair with a 2.3 arc second gap.

Scorpius is full of binary stars - pity it's a bit low down from here but worth trying to get a scope on this part of the sky
