Saturn at 14 degrees on 16th June 2017

Somehow manged to coax reasonble detail with the help of an ADC despite the altitude of 14 degrees  in West Sussex. I have looked at the firecapture log and a bit confused as to how it works out that the image was taken at f40. In the image train was a c9.25 scope, a skywatcher dual speed focuser, a x2 Barlow, astrosystems holland ADC then the zwo asi224MC camera.

That's an excellent image, well done.  Although you only had a 2x barlow, the image will have been projected further back to the camera via the ADC increasing the apparent focal length. Whether f/40 is correct, I couldn't say.

Fabulous looking image, plenty of detail visible there. I would guess that F40 probably was about right, I have used my X2 In the past and with the Barlow, focuser, filter wheel, Firecapture was giving out a 6000+ focal length.
