White light filter comparison 18.6.2017

Recommended Posts

Having had a conversation on here recently regarding "white light" video imaging and filter choice, I thought I would try all the filters I have used in quick succession to see what the results were like.

All the images were captured with my ED80, ND3.8 filter and DMK21au618 camera. 60 second video per image, all stacked in A/S2, batch processed in IMPPG, coloured in C/S2.

Obviously the conditions could have varied over the 5 minutes, but it is clear that no filter is by far the worst. Not sure there is too much between the no58 and the Continuum filters.
