2nd Phase IC 1396 Elephant trunk

Luck would have it ,clear skies for a while again tonight , added another 10 x300 sec subs to last nights IC 1396, getting better ,need another 12 i reckon to get that ultra smooth finish ,but showing more detail now ,so pleased,clouds stopped play again, used the Equinox 120 for imaging,Equinox 80 for guiding ,with PHD.ha 6nM used.

so up to now 13 x300 sec subs .

Thats better. On your advice I did the same with my M31 and you are right. I now collect then on a remote hard disc.

Yup , keeping fingers crossed.for another clear spell , the only trouble is its in another funny spot in the dome , the guide scope very near the hatch end opening, so every 5 mins i have to tweak the Dome ,else i loose the guide star , not the best place in the sky to image for me , so it would be a matter anyway of just a few subs at a time .
