Good day to all. I am Dex from London. Total astronomy newbie but my 6 yo son is showing interest so I joined this forum to start learning. I just got him his first telescope, an Astromaster 130eq. Hopefully, we'll soon be getting this up and scanning the heavens.  I hope to learn a lot from this group. Cheers all around!

Thank you, DirkSteele. However, on the 1st of July the family will be moving to the Philippines and we might stay there for a while. Would have loved to go to Regent's Park for stargazing
