Lovely setup Alan, that focuser really looks the business, your scope gazing out of that narrow slit of a window reminds me of Lord Ross's big scope at Birr Castle in Ireland that was built between two walls

That's the scopes temporary home while I've been acquiring and setting up the focuser, but I've been surprised by how much sky I can cover from there - It covers in the vertical plane between 22deg and 62 deg above the horizon, and horizontally about 45degrees facing South-ish - hardly ideal, but it has meant that I can have a coffee, beer or wine close at hand!

Bet your wife loves you leaving the scopes there Martin !, mine plays hell with me for keeping one in the living room, she says it makes the place look untidy , I say it adds an air of sophistication to the room :laugh:
