broadway1
Conditions were okay without being great last night as I watched Europa and Io approach and then transit the surface of Jupiter. Both moons are in the top left quarter, with Europa at the top, and Io (less well defined) below. I woke during the night and went back to the observatory to try to image Saturn through a gap in the trees, but those results are not worth sharing, hey ho. Clear skies, John (Note, as I usually do, for my display purposes, I've increased the size of the WINJUPOS output up to 600 x 600 size).

triton1
Yes I agree some nice colour and detail there with a double transit to boot.?
astroman001
Well captured John. Io is always difficult in transit because of the large relative motion so gets blurred in de-rotation. Peter
