Solar Saturday 10.6.2017

Lovely blue skies for a while today, so after locating and imaging Venus it was the Sun's turn! Despite the impact of the approaching Solar minimum, there was a cracking A/R and filament visible.

A 12 pane mosaic, which unfortunately has a slightly blurred area at the top centre. A couple of close ups of the A/R and filament.

The usual set up Lunt50mm ds, DMK21au618 & X2.5 Powermate for the close ups.

Nice set Pete, just running some from today through AS2 but not holding out much hope as the wind was playing havoc.

Very detailed FD Pete, weather looked 'good ish' but haze was about so ruined any high detailed stuff my end. Keep em coming ;-)
