Yes it should be today and tomorrow are my days off so today has had virtually no clouds so I'm hoping tonight will be equally cloudless so I can go out and have my first look through my bins at the night sky which I'm looking forward too only waited 10 days for some decent weather anyway here goes!

Welcome to the forum. Binoculars are a great way to start. There is a good binoculars section on the forum and you could do worse than following Steve Tonkin's Binocular Sky newsletter on what is visible.
