The Pleiades - my first this season

I've seen it through the 10" Dobsonian from under Greg's dark sky and from the Norman Lockyer Observatory. I suspect that more people have seen it than realise because it is easily dismissed as dew on the eyepiece or lens. If you are not sure, compare a view of Pleiades with other nearby stars of a similar magnitude. You might be surprised.

I've been incredbily lucky and caught some nebulosity with my Skywaster 15x70's from my back garden no-less. It was one of those 'legendary' nights though.

Anyways, Steve, wow! If my planned version of these is a good as yours I'll be well chuffed!
