Snap Camera

I notice on the new EQ6 r mount there is a "snap camera" port. Can anyone explain what that does please.

its for allowing your mount to control a dslr.

A camera can be connected to the Synscan handset via the snap camera socket. The Synscan handset can be programmed to take a series of timed shots.
