NGC281 - The Pacman Nebula

An image that I've just recently processed using data I collected over the period Dec 2014 - March 2015. It was my first Ha/O3/S2 imaging run using a FSQ85 @ f5.3 and QSI690 combo.

Based on 220min Ha, 190min O3 180min S2 and processed in PS CS3 using Annie's Actions.

Final image is heavily cropped to fix

1) my poor target alignment over multiple nights,

2) remove stars affected by poor polar alignment (since fixed) and

3) remove bright stars affected by the faulty O3 filter (halo problem, filter since replaced FOC by Baader).

well although it looks a little pixelated/noisy, I thin you have done a great job, especially over a longer time frame, id be happy with it

Nice start - iron out those issues and get some more data and this will only get better
