Moon 1.6.17 EDGE HD - Filmed on iPhone & a lesson learned

Really nice and clear out there tonight - left the house for work this morning at 6:15am but with skies like this you just gotta dig deep.

I use an Advanced AVX with the Celestron EDGE HD 8" SCT and a combo of either iPhone or a canon 700D to capture my images. Anyways, below is a real quick processed image hot off the press.

Oh and the lesson learned........I will put it down to tiredness. As I was taking my kit apart, got down to dismantling the mount and then woosh - it nearly went I just managed to cling on.....I had left the counterweight on as I took the mount off of the tripod :iamwithstupid:

First time I have done this and LESSON learned - a very close one!
