NGC3938 Supernova 2017ein

Following my success of capturing the supernova in the Fireworks galaxy last weekend I couldn't resist the chance to go for 2017ein in NGC3938 early on Friday night/Saturday morning. I managed to capture 10x600s subs through a luminance filter on my 150mm f7.3 refractor / mono CCD before the dawn sky became too bright.

I was not aware of this recent SN. Great capture Fireballxl5. I checked its current mag which is showing 16.3 so it will need to go brighter for me to see it.

Yes Mark, this one is much fainter than 2017eaw, with imaging made more difficult owing to the sky background being brighter.
