TWo random meteors

Saturday night was fairly clear, but I didn't feel like dragging the scope out, so I sat in a patio chair and watched the northeast sky specifically for meteors. In about an hour, I saw two, a bright yellow streak near Polaris, and a dimmer one sometime after in the same general area of the sky. I checked the IMO calendar, and these were sporadic meteors, not a part of any of the current weak showers.

I haven't done this, specifically, very often, but when I do, it usually produces, if you like seeing meteors.
