That ED120 is proving very versatile, isn't it ? :smiley:

I was observing Jupiter at the same time that you were sketching it. The detail was similar with my 130mm refractor but I had to work quite a bit harder to tease it out than on the previous night. As you say, I think there was a lot of heat rising into the air following a pretty warm day.

Fantastic sketches Shane!

I was observing those spots yesterday through the Baader Wedge & Evo 150 and they are the most interesting sports I have seen in months. Glad you captured them in such detail :smile:

Unfortunately, Jupiter eluded me again last night due to poor seeing and lots of bright haze when it had moved round to the south west.
