Not too late to book at all (unless of course for other reasons). I booked about this time last year and had a great time

Absolutely - there is still spaces please book through the FLO site.

I'll aim to post up the pitch plan tomorrow - just need to chase up a couple of people's bookings with Lucksall.

Hi fellow enthusiast's,

How do you go about booking a specific pitch for the event and also what is the vallet/ralley field as its not on the map that i can see??

If i can attend i would need a large tent pitch with electric hook up if any are left and a clear field of view as love my imaging of DSO.

The rally field is the name for all the pitches that we're on.  It's an area of the site far away from everything else.

As for booking with a large tent, tell them.

Anywhere on Buzzard or Hare that has electric hook ups would be suitable, iirc

All the views are pretty good from most of the rally field.

But on the map what is called as 'the rally field' is not on there ?  Is it the section thats closed off near the Loo block?

We don't use the large 'rally' field because it doesn't have electric hookups...

No but a large chunk of it and at this time of year there won't be many others around and in theory not close to us. Those that are there will know an astronomy event is going on and will be given information about red lights efc.. and welcomed to come and visit ?
