Moon and Venus 22-05-17

After staying up until gone midnight waiting for the forecast clear sky which failed to materialise I got up at 3.30 hoping to catch the crescent Moon and Venus, had to wait for a gap in the cloud to catch Venus.

I know what goes into taking a shot like this....  late nights followed by early mornings!!......   I have to hang out of the bathroom window to get the Moon like this....  I may add, not whilst having a bath...  Venus may blush if she saw that kind of thing going on !!
