Jupiter- Skymax 150 - 19/5/17

Really nice seeing out there tonight, got a few captures to go through but this one looked promising straight off the bat...

Skymax 150 and ASI185mc and ES 2x focal extender

1st image - 2 min capture at 128fps.  Stacked 3000 frames in AS!3, sharpened in registax and finished in PS.

2nd Image - 10 min capture at 125fps. Derotated and 6000 frames stacked, sharpened in Registax and finished in PS (Io to the right)

It is a nice feeling to actually see a good quality 'live' image on the screen.   As you say, you just know it will produce a good result.

This is a beautiful image, the colour balance and detail are just right.

Very good image for a 6" scope. I see that U are using ASi3 as well. It seems to give good results.

Thanks for the comments everyone.  Have added a second image (the best of the night - and my best Jupiter to date!).  

Has a bit more details and less noise due to many more frames captured and stacked (6000 instead of 3000)
