"Jiffy" focuser for Mak

Following using my Mak a couple of times this week. I thought I should finally get around to making a Jiffy focuser. 

 

So here it is. Lol. 

 

Looking forward to seeing how it might improve fine focusing on the Mak.

What a great idea, think I'll try to work out something similar for my SCTs. ??

Someone told me about this years ago, forgot about it until this week following some planetary imaging i did. I am intending on doing some more planetary/lunar work and had some bit lying around which suit the job perfectly.

I'd  seen this mod before but not heard it referred to as a "Jiffy" focuser, but a quick search has brought up many similar DIY focuser mods. I'll probably try that on my Mak 127 sometime. Thanks for the post.
